Reuben Hot Dog

  • 4 hot dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut
  • 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing


  1. Cook the hot dogs according to the package directions.  I think they taste best grilled, but my wife likes them boiled.
  2. Split and toast the buns on a grill or under the broiler.
  3. Place the hot dogs in the buns and, top with 1/8 cup sauerkraut, cheese, and Thousand Island dressing.
